We already keep everything in Excel. Do we have to start again?
No. Import your students from an Excel file, and export any list back to Excel whenever you want.
What if the internet goes down at the institution?
iSkooll runs in the browser, so it needs a connection while you work. Everything you have already saved stays safe, and anything you have printed is yours on paper.
Can guardians see their child's results?
Yes. Guardians sign in from any phone and see attendance, results, fees and notices for each of their children.
Does it send SMS to guardians?
Not yet. iSkooll records notices and publishes them to the guardian portal, but SMS sending is not switched on. We would rather tell you that now than sell you something that does not send.
Can guardians pay fees online?
Not yet. You record the payment — cash, bank, bKash, Nagad or Rocket — and iSkooll issues the numbered receipt. There is no payment gateway inside iSkooll, which also means nothing takes a cut of your fees.
What happens when we cross our student limit?
New admissions above your band are held rather than refused, and we are told automatically. When capacity is granted the held students become active again — nothing is deleted.
Who can see what?
You decide. Every user has a role, every role carries its own permissions, and record changes and exports are written to an audit trail.
Can we leave?
Yes, and you can take your data with you. Students, guardians, invoices, payments and the attendance log all export to Excel.
